Nestled on Novella Wine Bar’s beautiful wall display of wines from all over the world, right between a Paso Robles and a Napa Cab, you will find Cabs from Croatia, Macedonia and Slovenia. But the true gems of our unique selection are great wines made from little known indigenous grapes, like Plavac Mali from Croatia, Vranec from Macedonia, Blatina from Bosnia-Herzegovina, or Refosk from Slovenia.
Deliciously intriguing small plates
Our small plates are deliciously intriguing, many inspired by the Balkan region. You can nibble on thinly sliced smoked sirloin and Croatian cheese served on the Balkan Platter, have the Novella version of Bosnian Satarash made with roasted red peppers, caramelized leeks and artichokes, Croatian Polenta fries or Malbec BBQ Chicken Flatbread, the Malbec BBQ sauce is made in-house.
